John Bullock (left), 24, and Damonta Jones (right), 25, claim they did not rape a woman with a snake; instead, they stated to police, that she consented to the entire act.
The two northwestern Wisconsin men, who are charged with first-degree sexual assault, told investigators that they were partying at Jones' home with two other women on Nov. 11 of last year. Reportedly, Jones lured one of the women, a 32-year-old, into his bedroom, struck her several times then violently threw her across the floor.
According to a police report, the men forcibly took off the young woman's clothing then yanked off her underwear. Jones, who is a registered sex offender and monitored by a GPS tracker, allegedly pinned the woman down while Bullock raped her. She was then struck in the head and blacked out. The woman then testified when she regained consciousness but was still rather groggy, she overheard Jones say, "I'll get the snake."
The young victim told police she felt the snake being inserted inside her, felt it moving around and at some points, felt sharp pains from quite possibly the serpent nipping away at some of her internal areas. Then after what seemed to be an eternity, she overheard someone saying, "Pull it out."
After the ordeal, another woman named Sophie, who was present in the home, accompanied the victim into a bathroom. Instead of showing some measure of compassion to the victim, Sophie was heated about the fact that the woman just had sex with her man.
Assistant District Attorney Meri Larson is calling the "consensual act" a "violent attack on the victim."
Bullock and Jones, who pleaded not guilty on Monday, are being held on $30,000 bond each. If the men are convicted, they could face up to 60 years in prison.
