He became most famous for his vampire role in ?Twilight,? but Robert Pattinson has been intent on taking on a range of projects as his career unfolds.
When MTV News caught up with the Edward Cullen actor at Sunday?s Golden Globes, he was asked if he thought the upcoming film ?Water For Elephants? was a big stepping stone for him.
To that, the studly hunk replied, "I think so. It definitely felt like I was doing a big movie when I was doing it and it felt totally different from doing something within the 'Twilight' world because now it just seems so familiar, the 'Twilight' stuff. It's just like going to a normal job, doing that."
In the film, which hits theaters on April 22 and co-stars Reese Witherspoon, Pattinson plays a veterinary student abandons his studies after his parents are killed and joins a traveling circus as their vet.
