The Guardian and Observer launch Summer Loves Music campaign

From a special festivals guide and classic rock photography, to exclusive interviews and ticket giveaways, there's a great summer of music on its way from the Guardian and Observer

It's a truth well established by artists as different as George Gershwin and Sly Stone or Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince and Olivia Newton John and John Travolta: music sounds better in the summer.

Starting this Saturday with an exclusive Lady Gaga interview ? where she reveals why "pop culture is my religion" ? the Guardian and Observer are celebrating the months ahead with a campaign called Music Loves Summer. There will be a special festivals guide and groundbreaking coverage of every major event from Glastonbury to Glyndebourne; classic rock photography to collect as well as a seven-day guide to modern music ? plus a list of the most important people in the industry; we'll be launching a live version of our New Band of the Day series, and there'll be ticket giveaways for the rest of the best live action.

All this as well as more of our award-winning journalism ? and we want you to get involved, by sending us your festival pictures and reviews.
